‘Tis the season for classic TV – the Grinch, Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown in their animated glory. Movies like White Christmas and The Christmas Story and of course “It’s a Wonderful Life.” I’ve seen most of these so many times that I know the dialog and sing along with everything singable.
So imagine my delight at finding our own little Grinch TV in the office. My boss has a collection of frogs of all shapes and sizes and for Christmas, there are even more, complete with little hats and bells and such.
The shelf started with a single large frog who croaked carols when we pressed his flipper. But then Grinch TV appeared, and other little frogs. They heard Christmas stories. They watched TV. They took naps. Who knows what they’ll do tomorrow.
But they made me happy.
