Goals and Resolutions

I’m really terrible at keeping the goals and resolutions I set for myself at the beginning of the year. So I don’t want to overdo this, but I do want to think of what I want to accomplish as the year progresses:

  • Get Covid vaccine
  • Lose 15 lbs by July 1st and 30 lbs by Christmas
  • Increase my daily steps target by 2,000 each month. Starting steps: 6,000/day
  • Reach Rivendell in the Walk to Mordor by Christmas (458 miles)
  • Go to the gym 3 times/week after PT for the MCL tear
  • Have cataract surgery
  • Read one new book a week
  • Spend 5 hours/week cleaning up source citations & media categories for family tree
  • Create Family Tree books for each of my grandparents showing ancestors and readable primary sources
  • Visit the Safari near Jacksonville
  • Learn 3 line dances
