Random Thoughts of a Disordered Mind

Daily Questions

A version of these questions was originally included on a weight loss blog I belonged to 10 years ago as daily inventory questions. They’re good questions, but asking and answering them every day often became a burden. So I trimmed down the list to things that apply to me now. It’s still a bunch of questions but they’re a good way to review my day and think of things I did accomplish and feel instead of just dwelling on failures.

What did I eat today?

What exercise did I have today?

What did I do today that I like and respect myself for?

What project was my priority for today and how much progress did I make on it?

What did I do for someone else today?

What did I do for myself today?

What happened today that I enjoyed and appreciated that had nothing to do with me?

What boundaries did I set for myself? What boundaries did I honor?

Where did I have problems today? (or Where did I feel bad or negative today?)

What am I proudest of today?

What made me feel loved and appreciated today?
